Interpretation
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the appearance, consistency, and odor of a furry friend's stool can provide insights into their overall health and balance of Qi (vital energy), as well as the state of their internal organs. Here's how TCM interpret certain characteristics of furry friend's poop:
Characteristics: Extremely offensive smell, beyond the usual scent of dog feces. May appear greasy, mucous-covered, loose, or normal in consistency. Often accompanied by flatulence (gas).
Potential Causes: Imbalanced gut microbiome, poor digestion, Damp-Heat in the intestines, or food intolerance.
TCM Interpretation:
- Damp-Heat in the Stomach and Intestines: Heat and moisture impair digestion.
-
Food Stagnation: Undigested food in the system leading to fermentation.
