Diet & Prevention
Eat similarly portioned meals 3 times per day at regularly designated times. Strive to eat light, balanced meals. No raw or uncooked foods like salad, smoothie, and sushi. Eat less fruit. All fruit should be eaten at room temperature, never cold from the refrigerator.
Lastly, avoid going to bed soon after eating. Allow at least 2 ½ hours between eating your last bite and going to bed.
It is best to avoid eating sweets like candy and desserts; dairy products like cheese, yogurt, and cheesecake; greasy or deep fried foods like french fries and bacon; pungent or heavily seasoned foods like curry and barbeque; pickled foods like kimchi and pickles; and burnt foods like blackened fish or burnt meat. No smoking, drinking alcohol, coffee and cold beverages.
