Eat multiple, light, easily digestible, well-balanced meals that are high in fiber. It is best to avoid raw or uncooked foods like salad and sushi; deep fried or greasy foods like nachos and french fries; grilled, pungent or heavily seasoned foods like barbeque. No spicy foods. No smoking. Avoid chocolate, alcohol, coffee and cold beverages. Oily and fatty foods like cheese create Dampness. Spicy foods perpetuate Heat. Alcohol makes both Heat and Dampness more severe.
