The Effect Of Medicinal Wine

Wine is warm in nature, pungent in taste but bitter and sweet.  It has the functions of warming blood circulation, deploying medicinal power, warming the stomach and intestines, dispelling wind and cold, invigorating yang, and eliminating fatigue.

Drinking some medicinal wine in moderation can keep the body healthy, but excessive drinking of medicinal wine will deplete vitality and harm the body. So moderation is always the key.

Traditional medicine herbalists like to use medicinal wine because it enhances the power of herbs to reach both the depths of the internal organs and the extreme tips of the fingers and toes. Hence, there is the saying, "Wine is the longevity of a hundred medicines."
